About the Show
Lucifer is the story of the original fallen angel. Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar has resigned his throne and retired to the City of Angels, where he owns an upscale piano bar called Lux. The very thought disturbs him. The murder attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker, who finds herself both repulsed and fascinated by Lucifer. At the same time, God's emissary, the angel Amenadiel, has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to Hell. But with the City of Angels at his feet and a newfound purpose, Lucifer's having too much fun to go back now.

*My Thoughts*
Each adventurous episode is looking more like a therapy session for Lucifer...albeit it's a "hands-on" type of session...haha! With each case Lucifer solves with Chloe, he learns another lesson in human emotions as he tries to figure out his conflicted self. Plus, he also is conflicted with his own family issues. Resentment comes to mind with this episode...Well, pretty much all the episode. As Lucifer tries to figure out his own "demons" with Dr. Martin, he's trying to figure out his own issues with his Father.

Interesting how subplots unravel and reveal itself. Hmmm...There was a reason why Amenadiel saved Malcolm. Not only that...there are some secrets that some people want to keep hidden. But, wow! Amenadiel is resorting to underhanded means to get Lucifer back to Hell. Not so angelic now, is he!?! Seems that his time on Earth...particularly in Los Angeles...is also having an effect on him.

Moreover, despite the fact that Lucifer is angry with Maze, she will not leave him due to her loyalty to him. But, it doesn't look like he will stay angry with her very long. However, their "relationship" will be different due to her betrayal. Maze is treading carefully right now. Funny,  how she's a demons, but yet, she "cares" for Lucifer's well being...Well, like a loyal soldier to her general.

In the end, Lucifer, like every other human being, questions "God's plan," and he's the Devil! He's an Angel...be it fallen; he's still an Angel. We're seeing Lucifer question more and more about who he is and what his purpose is.

Until the next episode!

For now, here's a preview of Episode 10 - "Pops"
