*My Thoughts*

Well, it's apparent that there is more to come with this episode... I guess we can call it a cliffhanger. Will John survive? We will have to wait and see. And...I am definitely going to wait and see. It is obvious that people from John's past, particularly from Newcastle, will make their appearance.

Again, more connections to the subplots are subtly made in this midseason finale. To boot, it was an interesting twist when Sister Anne-Marie shot John to become bait for that creature Invunche. Yeah, the suspense and horror definitely is present. That Invunche definitely made my skin crawl. Yikes! But, dayum, Sister Anne-Marie turned the tables on John. Gotta save the innocents...right...no matter what the sacrifice!?!

Now, what about Zed!?! What the heck!!! Her "Father" is who is after her?  She will be their salvation. Well, okay, can we get any more cryptic!?! With all that protection...how was it that these kidnappers were able to easily walk in!?!

At least, this rising darkness has a name; although John seems pretty anxious about it. Is this Brujeria the rising darkness John has to face? The rising darkness that wants to bring hell and earth together? Seems to be a common theme with many battles between Good and Evil.

I am really enjoying the fact that we are seeing more of Chas and Zed. I mean, c'mon, for supporting cast, we should see more development of their characters and their connection with John Constantine.

With the elements of horror and suspense, with the twists and turns, plus the sarcastic wit of Matt Ryan's character, and the humorous, yet sarcastic, dialogue, Constantine is turning out to be an addictive series.
