*My Thoughts*

Note: This review contains no spoilers

What an emotional read! My Clarity is an emotionally charged new adult/college contemporary romance. Both Alex and Elijah has had tragedy and loss in their lives, and, yet, they find the strength to keep going...with the support of friends as well. Two completely opposite people, yet similar, become unlikely roommates in college. Although some time has passed, both are still grieving in their own ways. I was drawn into their lives with each turn of the page, as they were drawn to each other! Whoa! That's instense...haha! I was emotionally reeling throughout the book, then smiling as their story came together.

Mary Ting writing as M. Clarke has written an exquisitely realistic and romantic story of loss and love in My Clarity. She revealed the power of family and friendship in the midst of tragedy and heartbreak. She had me laughing, crying and frustrated as I read Alex and Elijah's story. Told in both points of views, gave the story depth as both Alex and Elijah learn and understand each other. Sometimes, you just can't help who you fall in love with.

This is the first of Mary's books I have read, and I was not disappointed in regards to the story. This was definitely an enjoyable and emotional read! Mary Ting was able to bring out the strength and compassion of true love and friendship in this story.
