Wow! What a whirlwind of romance, adventure, turmoil, mystery and action! This was an amazing journey of discovering one's past, present and future in two separate worlds colliding. J. Woods has done it again! She has sucked me into these worlds so fantastical that it's breathtaking to read! J. Woods is an amazing storyteller! She took me into two worlds separate, yet intertwined, by its characters. After reading Gilded Feathers, I was sucked into Cole and Drex's worlds...yes, worlds! If you haven't read the first book, do so before reading Gilded Faith.

With the beautiful and amazing details written on these pages of a world left to the imagination was breathtaking. That is what Cole encounters as her worlds collide while her romance with a Guardian grows. However, there is a darkness lurks behind all the beauty. As Cole tries to live a normal life, this other world continues to invade it and turns her life upside down with nightmares and mystery.
The plot, the setting and the characters were well written, as if I was watching a television series! These books has a life of its own once you start reading it. What more can I say without giving anything away! Except that reading this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride as I experience Cole's life, love and nightmares with every turn of the page. I can't wait to read Book 3, Gilded Promise!
